He was taken and placed before the Sultan, who demanded to know

      why this boy had climbed into the palace grounds.  Flynn, looking

 up to speak saw the monkey had run in and was being held by a 

beautiful Princess, called Paula, the daughter of the Sultan.

He began to tell his story, how the monkey had snatched the

 knapsack and his chase after him. Princess Paula began to laugh

and as she had been a bit miserable of late, he asked Flynn to

 stay as a guest and keep her company until his ship returned,

saying he'd send word to the captain of the ship.

Flynn agreed to stay, and for the next

few weeks led a life of luxury, 

being fed with exotic fruits and food

while being entertained by the jugglers

and dancers, while Pericho the pet

elephant of the Princess took them for

 rides during the day.
