VEGETARIAN SPAGHETTI BOLOGNAISE

                                                

                                                                    ingredients

 

                                                                       1 medium onion red or white

                                                                       Honegar [ from health store-is a mixture of honey and cider vinegar]

                                                                       1 tin tomato  whole or chopped with or without herbs

                                                                       Oregano dry herb

                                                                        lemon or lime -half

                                                                        tomato puree

                                                                        Desert spoon veg cooking oil

                                                                        Spaghetti for 2  as packet states per person. [whole meal]

                                                                          

                                                                          

 

                                                                            If no honegar- tbl spoon cider vinegar- tea spoon honey.

                                                                            start on medium heat large s/pan of salted water [half teaspoon]

                                                                        

                                                                            chop onion  into small pieces   [frying pan]

                                                                            place into warm oil to soften- about 5 min-try not to burn

                                                                            add tbl spoon honegar- stir couple mins then

                                                                            add tin tomato stir 5mins- add tomato puree [about 2 teaspoon]

                                                                            bring water to boil add spaghetti

                                                                            squeeze lemon juice into onion/tomato

                                                                            when spaghetti ready sprinkle oregano over onion /tomato

                                                                            drain spaghetti put on warmed plates add onion / tomato 

                                                                            plus sprinkle cheese if desired. 

                 I test my spaghetti by eating a piece every 5 mins until soft [about 15 mins]

 

                I find if a dry throat or cold coming on water and honegar 50/50 can sometimes ward off germs.

                My wife doesn't have cheese it irritates her sinus as does cows milk.
